HIGH-PERFORMANCE 3D VISUALIZATION AND GPU COMPUTING
While out-of-core data management continues to be essential to visualize large data, deriving new data sets or fusing multiple data sets is becoming increasingly important in understanding data. And while data-intensive applications continue relying on graphics hardware for visualization, this same hardware has proven to be very efficient for some computing tasks, making the GPU an attractive solution. VSG has taken the next step forward, allowing computation algorithms to be integrated into the visualization framework, for example, derivation of new data using NVIDIA® CUDA®. This powerful combination of LDM technology and GPU computing delivers both on the fly computation capability and interactive visualization, and provides the most efficient solution for extracting information from data.
AVIZO INTEGRATION WITH LABVIEW FROM NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS
Advances in sensor and data acquisition capabilities have led to an explosion of experimental data. Consequently, there are growing needs to visualize and process a large amount of measurement data, often in real-time, with hardware in-the-loop.
To meet these challenges, VSG works with National Instrument on an integration prototype between Avizo® and LabVIEW.
This integration will allow LabVIEW users to take advantage of the advanced 3D visualization capabilities offered by Avizo in a seamless manner.
